An experienced offshore racing navigator, she also is a veteran of national and regional championships. A former member of the University of Pennsylvania sailing team, since college Chang has been actively racing J/24s and J/80s on the Chesapeake as well as in Florida and Newport, and took part in the 2001 Chicago-Mackinac. Long, Women's Singlehanded Bronze Medallist in the 1991 Pan Am Games , was first female skipper in this year's Laser Nationals and has skippered two Santa Maria Cup Regattas. Demourkas started sailing in 1993, and bought her first boat last year, a Farr 40 in which she took fifth overall in her first season on the California circuit. She is new to the Rolex, but Alison has competed in every one except the 1999 regatta, and has won the event five times, along with an equal number of Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year titles. Alison also is a veteran and past winner of the Santa Maria Cup, as well as numerous other prestigious match racing and fleet competitions, including the 2001 Yngling Worlds, in which she was second overall and top female skipper. Layton also has participated successfully in prestigious events including the Mumm 30 and J/22 Worlds, Cowes Week, Sydney to Hobart, and others. She has been a member of the U.S. Sailing Team for 10 years since 1989, and held a #5 World Ranking from 1990 to 1993, and was a member of the 2000 Olympic Team. Eager and Shannon competed together in the 1989 and and 1997 Rolex IWKCs, with Schlegel joining them in 1989. Eager's sailing and racing experience goes back more than 25 years. She currently owns a Sabre 38-2, J/24, J/22, Laser, and Nacra 5.2, and previously owned and campaigned a J/29, Kirby 25, and C&C 24, and as skipper has earned many trophies in several classes in local and regional events. She also was part of Jim Brady's winning 1989 J/24 East Coasts team. Both she and Shannon earned their 25 Ton USCG licenses in 1987. Janene Marasciullo is new to the Rolex, but has been actively racing since 1996. She has served as crew in numerous regional and national regattas, including the Annaplis NOOD, Block Island Race Week, and Key West Race Week, on the J/29, Melges 24, and Henderson 30. She is a lawyer.

Tactician, Jane Lumbers, grew up sailing and is an experienced J/24 skipper and a veteran of the 1997 and 1999 Rolex IWKC. Her numerous accomplishments include winning the 1999 Lyra Championship (Lake Ontario) and placing 4th at the 1998 Canadian J/24 Championship. She has also sailed in the J/24 and J/22 North Americans. She is also a National Jury Member. She is married and has two children.s

Helen Scott, trimmer, co-owns a J/22, which she has successfully campaigned for 9 years. She is a veteran of the 1998 ISAF World Championship in Dubai and has sailed in the J/22 North American Championship, the J/22 Canadian Championship, the J/22 Ontario Championship, Cleveland Race Week and Youngstown Level Regatta. She is a teacher.

Jennifer Princing, bow, grew up sailing Lightenings and is a veteran of several Lightening North American Championships. She has co-owned a J/22 for four years and helped start J/22 fleet #44 in Tawas Bay. She is a veteran of Cleveland Race Week and Youngstown Level Regatta. She is active in promoting youth sailing and enthusiastic about sharing her Rolex experience with several teenagers she has been teaching.

She regularly sails J/24s, Etchells, JY 15s, and Lasers as well as big boat and offshore classes. She is the founder and coach of a high school sailing team and serves as head coach to the University of New Hampshire's sailing team and the director of the University of New Hampshire Sailing Centre. She has consistently placed in the top three in the Pascataqua Women's Series and in the top seven in the Piscataqua J/24 series. The team has sailed together most of the past two summers as well as alternate Saturdays in Boston over the winter, racing J/22s in the Boston Harbour Frostbites. Ryan has 39 years of ocean-going experience as an active workers, teacher, and competitive/pleasure boater. She provides charter captain services three seasons of the year, and also has spent much time lobstering, so she brings a wealth of knowledlge of current, tides, and weather to the team. Wohler-Berry prefers one-design sailing and has been racing for 25 years in classes including Bullseye, Shields, and Lightning. She is a two-time Bullseye National Champion, and, with her husband, has consistently finished in the top five in the Shields Nationals since 1994.
